A Note About My Doula Work

After more than three meaningful years of supporting families as a birth doula, I have made the decision to take a sabbatical from attending births this year. Walking alongside parents-to-be during pregnancy and birth has been hugely impactful and it has been an honor to be welcomed into such an intimate and transformative time for so many families. I treasure the relationships I’ve built with my clients and hold those moments close to my heart.

This decision feels right for where I am now. Stepping back from the on-call demands of birth work will allow me to focus on other parts of my life and business, to be more present for my own family, and to expand what I offer to parents-to-be and new families. I’m looking forward to teaching more classes, diving into continuing education, and reflecting on how best to serve this community moving forward.

Although I won’t be attending births, I’m still here for you. I will continue to offer my “Everything but the Birth” package, which provides comprehensive preparation and support leading up to your baby’s arrival. I’ll also remain available as a postpartum doula to help families navigate the early days and weeks after birth.

Thank you for your understanding and trust as I take this time to step back and grow. If you have any questions or want to explore how I can still support you, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warmly,
Christine
