Become a doula
A comprehensive English-language doula training in Zürich — with expert guest teachers, live sessions, and everything you need to start working with families

You feel the pull
You light up around pregnancy and birth stories. You’re the friend who listens deeply, who helps others feel seen and calm. You’ve wondered what it would be like to support families as a career—but you weren’t sure where to start.
This is your beginning.
What Makes This Training Unique?
Self-paced with live touchpoints. Work through recorded modules at your own pace, then bring your questions, reflections, and real-life practice to monthly live sessions with Christine — in Zürich on Fridays or online, depending on the group.
Expert guest teachers. Learn from specialists in breastfeeding, rebozo and comfort measures, perinatal mental health, and loss and bereavement. These aren't just names on a slide — they're professionals you'll actually know by the time you finish, and whose expertise you'll be able to confidently recommend to your clients.
In-person training days in Zürich. Four full-day in-person sessions with guest experts are included and scheduled within 12 months of your enrollment. If you're based outside Zürich, dates are given well in advance so you can plan.
A personal start. Within two weeks of enrolling, you'll have a one-on-one live session with Christine to walk through the program, answer your questions, and set you up well from the beginning.

None. This course is designed for anyone feeling called to support families through birth, whether you have birth experience or are starting completely fresh.

You’re required to attend at least two births to complete your certification. We’ll support you in finding those opportunities through your network and ours.
Is the course taught in English?
Yes! All course materials, discussions, and resources are in English. This training is ideal for english speaking expats and international folks living in Switzerland or nearby.
I live outside of Zürich- can I still join?
Yes. The majority of the course is online and self-paced. The four in-person days take place in Zürich and dates are given well in advance so you can plan travel and accommodation if needed.

Absolutely. We cover not only how to support families, but also how to set boundaries, price your services, and find your first clients. You'll leave with tools and confidence to start offering support professionally right away.
How long does the training take?
That depends on your pace. The recorded content can be worked through as quickly or slowly as you like. All live sessions — including the four in-person expert days — are scheduled within 12 months of your enrollment.
Does this prepare me to be a birth, postpartum or bereavement doula?
All three. Even if you're drawn to just one area, they overlap in practice and it's valuable to be equipped for all of it. You can choose your focus once you're qualified.
