The transition to motherhood is an intense and deeply transformative event. Postpartum yoga is a wonderful way to take care of yourself and reconnect with yourself on a physical, mental, and spiritual level. The purpose of this practice is to heal the body from within, balance emotions, and fully enjoy your baby's first year of life through breathing expansion techniques (pranayama), meditation practices, and gentle but effective exercises (asanas).

Regular postpartum yoga practice will help you tone your abdominal, back, and pelvic floor muscles, realign your spine and improve your posture, relieve tension, cultivate serenity and inner balance, and replenish the energy you need to care for yourself and your baby.

*Ideal without baby, 6 weeks after vaginal birth, 8 weeks after a cesarean. Check with your doctor before starting.

This is an English-language course taught by Josefina Yoga.

Location: This is a virtual event that takes place on Thursday evenings via Zoom.
